Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Verbo (“we”, “us”), an AI-powered English grammar correction service on the web and on Android/iOS. By using Verbo, you agree to these terms.

The service

Verbo corrects grammar, spelling, and phrasing in text or speech you submit, and explains each correction in plain English. Corrections are generated by AI and, while we aim for high accuracy, they may occasionally be wrong — Verbo is a learning aid, not a guarantee of perfect English.

Free trial and pricing

• New users get a one-time free trial of a limited number of corrections to try the full product.
• After the trial, continued use requires a paid subscription. Current plans and prices are shown in the app when your trial ends.
• Prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and billed monthly, in advance, to the payment method you provide.
• We may change prices for future billing periods; we'll give you reasonable notice before any change takes effect for an existing subscription.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancelling stops all future billing immediately — you won't be charged again after you cancel. You can continue using paid features until the end of the billing period you've already paid for.

Refunds

We don't offer refunds for amounts already charged, including partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at nmmaimela@gmail.com and we'll look into it.

Acceptable use

• Don't use Verbo for unlawful, abusive, or harmful purposes.
• Don't attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.
• Don't submit content you don't have the right to share.

We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms.

Disclaimer and liability

Verbo is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Changes to these terms

If we make material changes to these terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
